Currently on a two-fight losing skid, Bethe Correia (10-4-1) missed weight by five pounds in her last outing, in May, when she was tapped out by Irene Aldana via armbar. Before the loss, ‘Pitbull’ was knocked out by former champion Holly Holm in June 2017. The 36-year-old’s last win happened in September 2016, when she bested Jessica Eye via split decision.
Back to the bantamweight division after a brief flyweight stint, Sijara Eubanks (4-3) dropped an unanimous decision to Aspen Ladd, in a “Fight of the Night” performance, back in May. Before the loss, ‘Sarj’ was on a two-fight winning streak, with a couple of unanimous decision wins over Roxanne Modafferi and Lauren Murphy.
Although it has not been officially announced, a bout between featherweight contenders Chan Sung Jung and Brian Ortega has been rumored to headline UFC Mexico City.
