Welterweights Demian Maia and Jorge Masvidal will now meet in Dallas.

Although it was previously announced Demian Maia and Jorge Masvidal would meet in Nashville, at UFC Fight Night 108, MMA Junkie is reporting that the pair will actually meet at a pay per view event – UFC 211, to be precise.

Maia (24-6) enters the match on a six-fight winning streak with wins over the likes of Carlos Condit, Matt Brown, Neil Magny and others. His last loss dates back February 2014, when he dropped a unanimous decision to Rory MacDonald.

Masvidal (32-11) has recently found his rhythm in the welterweight division as he approaches Maia on a three-fight winning streak, having defeated Ross Pearson, Jake Ellenberger and Donald Cerrone. His last loss was a split decision to Lorenz Larkin in May 2016.

Demian Maia will meet Jorge Masvidal at UFC 211, in Dallas, Texas, on May 13. The card will be headlined by a heavyweight title fight between champion Stipe Miocic and the last man to beat him, Junior dos Santos.
