Strawweights Jessica Andrade and Angela Hill will now meet in Texas, on February 4.
The strawweight clash between Jessica Andrade and Angela Hill is back on track, as MMA Rising first reported. Hindered by USADA, as Hill had not met the required four month testing window, the fight originally scheduled for UFC 207 in December, was scrapped. Now, the Invicta strawweight champion is cleared to fight again and the bout is headed to Texas.
Undefeated since her drop to the strawweight division, Andrade (15-5) has scored a couple of stoppage wins over Jessica Penne and Joanne Calderwood. Her last loss, a submission to Raquel Pennington, dates back to September 2015.
A Ultimate Fighter 20 veteran, Angela Hill (6-2) was released from the UFC following a 1-2 stint, with losses to Tecia Torres and Rose Namajunas. She now returns to the Octagon on a four-fight winning streak, during which she became the Invicta FC strawweight champion.
Jessica Andrade will meet Angela Hill at UFC Fight Night 104, on February 4, in Houston Texas. The card will be headlined by the return Chan Sung Jung, after two years away from the Octagon due to military service. He is expected to meet Dennis Bermudez.
