According to a report by FloCombat, UFC strawweight champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk and Karolina Kowalkiewicz will be part of the UFC 205 event from Madison Square Garden.
Jedrzejczyk (12-0) and Kowalkiewicz (10-0) have won all nine of their Octagon fights and both mentioned New York City and November as a potential date for their bout if Poland was out of the question. Both are natives of Poland and will make history as the first-ever all-European UFC title-fight.
Back in July, Jedrzejczyk defended her title with a decision win over Claudia Gadelha. Kowalkiewicz turned back the challenge of Rose Namajunas at UFC 199 to become the No. 1 contender.
In 2012, Jedrzejczyk scored a submission win over Kowalkiewicz while both were still amateurs in the finals of the Amatorska Liga MMA Tournament.
