Jennifer Maia will fight Jessica Eye at a UFC event this summer.

Former UFC flyweight title contenders Jennifer Maia and Jessica Eye are set to fight at a UFC event on July 10th.

MMA Fighting revealed the news, though the UFC is yet to officially announce the matchup.

Maia (18–7–1) last fought Valentina Shevchenko for the 125-pound title, losing via a one-sided unanimous decision. The Brazilian has gone 3-3 since signing for the UFC in 2018, with her last win coming against Joanne Calderwood by armbar this past August before the title fight.

With just one win in the last two years, Eye (15-9, 1 NC) has struggled to find her form in the women’s flyweight division. “Evil” is hoping to rebound against Maia following decision losses in her last two fights to Calderwood and Cynthia Calvillo. Eye was brutally knocked out by Shevchenko in their title fight at UFC 238.

No location or venue has yet been announced for the UFC event on July 10th, and no other bouts are attached to the card as of yet.
