A women’s flyweight fight between Maycee Barber and Alexa Grasso is reportedly set for the UFC’s February 13th event.
A women’s flyweight fight is being planned to take place for the UFC’s February 13th event. Number 11-ranked contender Maycee Barber will come out of a year-long layoff to face Alexa Grasso.
News about the pairing surfaced on Twitter on Tuesday night.

After signing with the UFC through Dana White’s Contender Series in 2018, the 22-year-old Barber made a strong impression through three straight TKO wins. That streak ended when she ran into Roxanne Modafferi at UFC 246 in January, ending her undefeated run. She now holds a record of 8-1.
The 27-year-old Grasso, on the other hand, went 3-3 as a strawweight in the UFC before deciding to move up in weight early this year. She made her flyweight debut in August against Ji Yeon Kim and won via unanimous decision, improving her win-loss slate to 12-3.
No other bouts have been announced for this card, which has yet to have a final venue.
