Either former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) lightweight champion, Conor McGregor, has a serious anger management problem, or some opportunistic “fans” are capitalizing on the fact that “Notorious” is always in trouble.
And (literally) paying for his mistakes.
Either way, the Irish tabloids recently brought word that police are investigating an alleged assault at the Marble Arch Pub last weekend in Dublin, Ireland, where McGregor was accused of slugging a loudmouth fan.
According to Irish Mirror, McGregor was boozing it up after a night of nearby amateur mixed martial arts (MMA) fights, where he was “acting the mick” and getting on people’s nerves. One fan teased him about getting “battered” by Khabib Nurmagomedov at UFC 229.
That’s when the fists allegedly started flying.
McGregor, who has also been known to start trouble at live events, is already in hot water for losing his shit in Miami last month, a phone-stomping incident that nearly jeopardized his plea deal from last year’s Brooklyn bus attack.
The “Notorious” team has yet to comment.
