A lightweight bout was reportedly added to the upcoming UFC Fight Night 175 card.
A lightweight match including a seasoned veteran was reportedly added to the UFC Fight Night 175 card as the date rapidly approaches.
According to a report by Brazilian news outlet Combate, Michael Johnson will take on Thiago Moises. According to his social media, the Brazilian Moises is already in Florida for the bout.
The report also mentioned a lightweight bout between Bobby Green and Omar Morales, but MMA Fighting’s Damon Martin posted on Twitter that the fight will not, in fact, be happening on that date.
A couple of fights out there that I’ve been told are not happening.
Bobby Green vs. Omar Morales
Jared Gordon vs. Sean Woodson.Understand, the UFC is moving quickly to book these cards so almost every fight is “tentative” at this point.

Currently on a two-fight losing skid, Michael Johnson (19-15) was knocked out by Josh Emmett in his last featherweight bout, back in March 2019. He then dropped a majority decision to Stevie Ray in October of the same year. The 33-year-old’s last win came in October 2018, when he bested Artem Lobov via unanimous decision.
With two losses and one win in his UFC record, Thiago Moises (12-4) might be fighting for his job after dropping a unanimous decision to Damir Ismagulov back in August 2019. His last and sole Octagon victory came last May when he defeated Kurt Holobaugh via unanimous decision.
Michael Johnson is expected to take on Thiago Moises at UFC Fight Night 175, in Jacksonville, Florida, on May 13. The card is scheduled to be headlined by a light heavyweight bout between former title challengers Anthony Smith and Glover Teixeira.
