Contrary to his own statement, Jake Paul and Tyron Woodley won’t be tested ahead of their boxing match on Sunday.

One of the subplots for the upcoming Jake Paul vs. Tyron Woodley boxing match is the allegation about Paul being on performance-enhancing drugs. It was a subject that renowned MMA coach Firas Zahabi had previously brought up, which “The Problem Child” already dismissed. Woodley also insinuated that Paul’s teammates may have leaked his PED use.

Paul went on to claimed that he would be tested by the athletic commission ahead of the fight.

“This is a real fight,” he said on Thursday in an interview with MMA Junkie’s Mike Bohn. “This isn’t the exhibition shit that my brother and Floyd did. No hate to them, but this isn’t an exhibition shit. I do real pro fights with a commission, who is drug testing me. So these claims are stupid.”

At the time of the interview, Paul admitted he hasn’t been drug tested and that it likely happens either on fight day or the day before. But that is not the case, as it turns out.

Bohn later received confirmation from the Ohio State Athletic Commission that both Paul and Woodley won’t be subjected to a drug test.

Both headliners have already weighed in, and of course, not without some theatrics. Fight night is less than 12 hours away.
