It looks like all parties involved have agreed on a date for the third fight between Dustin Poirier and Conor McGregor.
Stars are slowly aligning for a third fight between Dustin Poirier and Conor McGregor. According to ESPN’s Ariel Helwani, UFC 264 will likely be the date for the already-hyped trilogy.
Dustin Poirier vs. Conor McGregor 3 is close to being finalized for UFC 264 on July 10, according to multiple sources.
It is not signed or fully agreed to yet, but all three parties seem optimistic at this time that it could be finalized as soon as this week, sources say.

A Conor McGregor headliner won’t be complete without fans in attendance. And with the next two pay-per-view events happening in front of a live audience for the first time in nearly a year, giving this fight the same treatment would make sense for the company.
When asked about it during the UFC 260 post-fight presser, UFC president Dana White is optimistic that UFC 264 will happen at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
“I hope so. That’s the plan,” he told reporters.
Poirier and McGregor squared off for the second time in January at UFC 257 in Fight Island in Abu Dhabi. “The Diamond” avenged his 2014 loss via a second-round TKO win.
The winner of this trilogy fight likely faces the winner of UFC 262’s championship headliner between Charles Oliveira and Michael Chandler on May 15.
