UFC featherweights Ricardo Lamas and Charles Oliveira will reportedly fight in Mexico City, on November 5th.
A pair of featherweight scrappers have agreed to meet each other on November 5th, as Flo Combat reported Ricardo Lamas will take on Charles Oliveira at the TUF Latin America 3 Finale, as they both look to get back in the win column.
Lamas (16-5) hasn’t had a win streak since 2014 and will look to rebound from his unanimous decision loss to Max Holloway in June. His last win came when he defeated veteran Diego Sanchez by unanimous decision in November 2015.
Oliveira (21-6, 1 NC) had a nice four-fight winning streak before a freak esophagus injury rendered him unable to keep on fighting in his Max Holloway bout. Although he bounced back with a slick guillotine win over Myles Jury in December 2015, he was submitted by former lightweight champion, Anthony Pettis, in his last outing.
Ricardo Lamas will take on Charles Oliveira at the TUF Latin America 3 Finale, which airs live on Fox Sports 1. The night’s main event is a lightweight bout between former champion Rafael dos Anjos and Tony Ferguson.
