UFC 230 has seen its fair of changes so far, so it shouldn’t surprise many people that there are more issues with the top of the card. According to ESPN’s Brett Okamoto, Luke Rockhold is out of his co-main event rematch with Chris Weidman due to an injury. He tweeted about it jut a little while ago:

The nature of the injury has not come to light as of yet.

Rockhold (16-4, 6-3 UFC) hasn’t competed since a February loss to Yoel Romero. He was briefly tied to a light heavyweight fight with Alexander Gustafsson at UFC 227, but was forced out of that bout due to an injury as well.

At this point, it is unclear if Weidman will stay on the card. The promotion has two weeks until UFC 230, which takes place in Madison Square Garden in New York City on November 3rd. The event will be headlined by a heavyweight title fight between Daniel Cormier and Derrick Lewis.
