Uriah Hall was on weight when he fainted en route to the UFC Fight Night 124 weigh-ins on Saturday morning, resulting in his middleweight fight with Vitor Belfort being cancelled.
Some details regarding why Uriah Hall was forced out of UFC Fight Night 124 have surfaced.
On weight, Hall fainted en route to the official weigh-ins Saturday morning, MMAFighting.com’s Ariel Helwani reported Saturday afternoon. He was taken to a local hospital shortly thereafter.
Per Helwani, Hall is awake and “feeling better,” and is currently undergoing some tests with doctors. The reporter said that Hall is believed to have suffered a seizure.
Update on Uriah Hall: according to sources, he was on weight and headed to the weigh-ins this AM. That’s when he feinted. Looked scary, I’m told. Taken to the hospital. He’s feeling better and awake. Doctors are doing tests.

Was also told by two sources that the belief is Hall suffered a seizure in the midst of it all.

Helwani added that Hall’s fainting “looked scary.” UFC women’s flyweight Paige VanZant, who competes in the new UFC Fight Night 124 co-main event on Sunday, said on Twitter that the scene was the “scariest thing I have ever seen.”

The UFC announced on Saturday morning after the official weigh-ins that Hall’s fight opposite Vitor Belfort was cancelled when Hall failed to weigh in within the two-hour window given to fighters.
Hall has not publicly commented on the fight cancellation and his condition.
UFC Fight Night 124, which now has 11 bouts, takes place at Scottrade Center on Sunday, Jan. 14. In the main event, Jeremy Stephens faces Doo Ho Choi.
