A battle of young light heavyweights in need of a win was reportedly added to the Octagon’s next trip to Brazil, at UFC Brasilia. Per ESPN’s report, flashy striker Johnny Walker will take on thrilling finisher Nikita Krylov at the country’s capital in March, 2020.

After putting together a highlight reel three-fight winning streak for his first Octagon appearances, where Johnny Walker (17-4) made quick work of Khalil Rountree, Justin Ledet and Misha Cirkunov, the 27-year-old came up short against Corey Anderson, in November, when he was TKO’d in the first round at UFC 244.

In his last outing, Nikita Krylov (25-7) managed to convince one judge, but ultimately dropped a split decision to veteran Glover Teixeira, in September. The loss came right after a submission victory over Ovince Saint Preux, back in April, which came after a sub defeat to Jan Blachowicz, in September 2018.

Now, Johnny Walker is expected to take on Nikita Krylov at UFC Brasilia, in Brazil, on March 14, 2020. So far, no headliners have been officially announced for the card.
