Ricardo Arona to meet with UFC president, wants to fight in octagon at end of year
LAS VEGAS – A familiar faced popped out of the crowd of reporters and
onlookers at Saturday’s UFC 114 post-fight press conference in Las Vegas
– former PRIDE mainstay Ricardo Arona.
Arona told MMAjunkie.com he was there to
support his former teammate, Antonio Rogerio Nogueira, who defeated
Jason Brilz at the pay-per-view event, and get a meeting with UFC
president Dana White.
“I talked to him before, but I don’t know yet,” Arona said. “I hope so.
I’ve got to talk to him about me coming back to fight. I will try, but
he’s very busy.”
