Another welterweight bout has been added to UFC 171.
Rick Story will meet TUF 17 champion Kelvin Gastelum on March 15 in Dallas. The UFC announced the bout Friday night.
Story (16-7) has been a win one, lose one fighter in the UFC in recent years, but he showed signs of momentum in 2013, winning two of three. His most recent win was a unanimous decision over Brian Ebersole at UFC 167.
The 22-year old Gastelum (7-0) scored what at the time was considered an upset over Uriah Hall last year to win the TUF 17 tournament. He beat Brian Melancon on Aug. 28 via submission, and was scheduled to meet Court McGee at UFC on FOX 9, but had to withdraw due to a knee injury.
UFC 171 previously had four welterweight fights announced: Johny Hendricks vs. Robbie Lawler for the vacant championship; former UFC interim and WEC champ Carlos Condit vs. Tyron Woodley; Jake Shields vs. Hector Lombard; and Sean Spencer vs. Alex Garcia.
