Jamahal Hill revealed the health problems he’s suffered after contracting the coronavirus.

Another UFC fighter has revealed the serious effects that COVID-19 has ravaged on their body.

Light heavyweight prospect Jamahal Hill was supposed to fight submission specialist Paul Craig at UFC Vegas 22 on March 20th, but the matchup has been postponed as Hill continues to deal with the virus.

In a lengthy video on his Instagram page, Hill detailed all of the symptoms he’s had and it includes

“The fight has been postponed, it’s not cancelled,” Hill said (transcription via MMA Fighting). “I haven’t pulled out of anything. I specifically called and asked them to make sure they kept the same match intact.

“I’m having some complications from COVID. I contracted COVID a little over a week ago and the shit ain’t been going f—king good for me. I started out with a fever, I’ve been dealing with all type of symptoms ever since then including chest tightness, chest congestion, my breathing is off and as recent as yesterday, I coughed up blood. I spit some mucus out and there was blood inside of it. So f—k what anybody talking about. My health is in question. When my health is in question, that’s going to get my undivided attention.”

Hill (8-0, 1 NC) is ranked #15 and is coming off a brilliant performance against longtime contender and former interim title challenger Ovince Saint Preux. The 29-year-old’s fight with Craig was slated to be a co-main event, as was the case for his fight against OSP.

There is no word on when Hill vs. Craig will be rescheduled but considering what he’s dealing with at the moment, there’s no reason to even try to figure out a date. We’ve heard and seen the horror stories from the likes of Khamzat Chimaev and former champion Cody Garbrandt as far as the long-term effects of COVID, let alone what Hill has already experienced in short-term.
