Manel Kape destroyed Kai Asakura early in the second-round of their main event clash. Kape closed out round one with a thudding spinning back-fist. He kept the momentum going in round two, dropping his opponent twice before finishing him on the ground.

Tenshin Nasukawa had his way with Rui Ebata for as long as their fight lasted. The striking standout thrashed his opponent with three thunderous knockdowns, including one amazing tornado kick.

Rena def. Lindsey VanZandt via TKO (corner stoppage) at 4:42 of round 3
Rena avenged a June submission loss to Lindsey VanZandt in the final seconds of their RIZIN rematch. Rena found her way on top near the conclusion of round three and reigned heavy blows down on her foe. With 18-seconds left, VanZandt’s corner threw in the towel.

Tofiq Musaev def. Patricky Pitbull via unanimous decision
Tofiq Musayev snatched himself the RIZIN Lightweight Grand Prix crown in a back-and-forth brawl with Bellator veteran Patricky Pitbull. Both men swung wildly and connected often. Ultimately, it was Musayev who was victorious in the judges’ eyes.
