Rodtang Jitmuangnon finally lost his Muay Thai title.

Unfortunately, it came on the scale ahead of his ONE Championship 169 title fight, scheduled for Fri., Nov. 8, 2024 at Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand. The bout has been bumped to a catchweight of 135.5 pounds; however, opponent Jacob Smith will still be eligible to capture the flyweight crown after successfully making his mark.

“For the seven years we’ve been together, I’ve done my best,” Rodtang wrote on social media. “If we part ways, I won’t go far. I promise to bring you back. Don’t scold others, brothers and sisters, scold only me. I’ve done my best.”

Undefeated three-division champion Anatoly Malykhin will defend his ONE Heavyweight crown against Senegalese wrestling champion “Reug Reug” Oumar Kane in the ONE Championship 169 main event. Elsewhere on the card, Jackie Buntan puts her strawweight kickboxing title on the line opposite Anissa Meksen.
