“My message is be healthy,” Rogan said while smoking a giant cigar.
Joe Rogan is not horsing around with CNN.
The UFC color commentator and wildly-successful podcaster was recently criticized by Dr. Jonathan Reiner, who told CNN host Don Lemon that Rogan was promoting “a crazy jumble of folk remedies and internet-prescribed drugs.”
Rogan, under the consultation of his “American” doctor, used a combination of Ivermectin, Z-Pak, Prednisone, and Monoclonal Antibodies, along with an NAD and Vitamin C drip to help combat his case of COVID-19.
As of this writing, FDA does not support the use of Ivermectin to treat coronavirus.
“Bro, do I have to sue CNN? They’re making shit up! They keep saying I’m taking horse dewormer,” Rogan told comedian Tom Segura (transcribed by Variety). “I literally got it from a doctor. It’s an American company, they won the Nobel Prize in 2015 for use in human beings, and CNN is saying I’m taking horse dewormer. They must know that’s a lie. What they didn’t highlight is that I got better. They try to make it seem as if, like, I’m doing some whacky shit that’s completely ineffective and CNN was saying that I’m a distributor of misinformation.”
Rogan quickly recovered from his fight against COVID-19 and told his social media followers the medicinal witches brew “quickly and easily” rid him of the virus. Not surprisingly, his speedy recovery did little to stop online skeptics from criticizing his controversial methods.
“Because I wasn’t scared during the entire pandemic, what they would like is that when I did get sick, that I was really sick, and I became really scared and learned my lesson,” Rogan continued. “And instead, it’s the worst-case scenario for them. I bounced back about as quick as you fucking can. They’re haters, but that’s their life. Imagine spending any time whatsoever wishing that a person felt bad. It’s the dumbest fucking thing you can ever spend your energy on. And it doesn’t work. It doesn’t make people feel worse. I’d heard that that was going on, but I didn’t pay attention to it. It’s like, they’re weak bitches. Stay salty.”
Rogan is expected to return to the commentary desk for UFC 266 later this month.
