Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) color commentator Joe Rogan may hate the judging in Texas, but he certainly loves its freedom. That’s why the podcasting deity is moving from Los Angeles to “The Lone Star State” and bringing his Spotify show with him.
One that netted the former Fear Factor host a “gross” $100 million.
“I just want to go somewhere in the center of the country,” Rogan told his audience. “Somewhere it’s easier to travel to both places and somewhere we have a little bit more freedom. I think that where we live right here in Los Angeles is overcrowded and I think most of the time that’s not a problem. But I think it’s exposing the fact that it’s a real issue when you look at the number of people that are catching COVID because of this overpopulation issue.”
A new location requires a new studio.
Rogan was kind enough to share a sneak peek of his new digs on social media and it looks a lot like one of those high-end Doomsday bunkers. That may explain why the not-a-sports guy was playing coy with its exact location, in fear that it might be overrun with listeners when the zombie apocalypse finally hits.
