Ronda Rousey confirms engagement to Travis Browne by hilariously trolling ‘Hapa’
Former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) women’s Bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey and current Heavyweight contender, Travis Browne, recently announced their engagement to be married (details here).
Ronda has long stated that only a “man’s man” could tie her down, and apparently “Hapa” fulfilled all of the criteria. However, will he be man enough to wear the pants in the marriage?
That remains to be seen, but Ronda trolled her husband-to-be with a hilarious photo via Instagram depicting otherwise, as the photo shows Ronda wearing the tuxedo while the towering Hawaiian was the one wearing the wedding dress.
While there is no timetable set for their wedding, Ronda will now shift her attention to planning the bash. And with yet another duty added to her full plate — that still includes acting — there is no telling whether or not she will ever return to the cage.
Company president Dana White isn’t too convinced one of his biggest stars will ever come back — despite earning record-setting paydays — following back-to-back knockout losses, including her first-round defeat to Amanda Nunes last December.
