Ronda Rousey has broken her silence on Walmart.
America’s largest retailer will not sell the UFC women’s bantamweight champion’s forthcoming book, “My Fight/Your Fight,” in its stores.
On Wednesday, Rousey fired back at Walmart via Instagram.
“‘Success is the best revenge,’ one of many lessons I learned from fighting that helped me fight through life’s battles off the mat and outside the octagon,” Rousey wrote. “@walmart is welcome to watch the success of this publication from the sidelines if they choose.”
Walmart, which sells guns and ammunition in its stores, allegedly deemed Rousey’s book “too violent” to be sold on their shelves. They will, however, make the book available online.
Rousey’s book is scheduled for a May 12 release.
