For many, having the chance to play the digital version of yourself in an actual video is a dream come true.
But, for Ronda Rousey, it’s a nightmare, as she tells MMA Junkie that her character is the only one she won’t use on EA Sports UFC 2 video game.
“Rowdy” explains why:
“It weirds me out to see myself and play as myself. I’ve never played as myself. I don’t like being not as in control of my body as I should be. I don’t know all the buttons to like counter a double (leg takedown) with a Harai goshi. I’d do it in real life, but it’d be really hard (in the game).”
The second installment of the UFC video game is set to be releases this coming Tuesday (March 15, 2016) and will be available for XBOX and Playstation 4 consoles.
As for when Ronda is expected to showoff her real life moves, that may come sooner, rather than later, as Ronda told UFC president Dana White that it may be time to get back to work after Miesha Tate submitted Holly Holm at UFC 196.
A move White and Co. are very much in agreement with.
