Rose Namajunas jokes that she shouldn’t have let Dana White choose her UFC 237 walkout song.
After experiencing technical difficulties with her music choice at past UFC events, former strawweight champ Rose Namajunas thought it would be best to let Dana White pick her walkout song for UFC 237.
Rose ended up walking to the Octagon last Saturday to Thunderstruck by AC/DC, but the 26-year-old was knocked out in the second round after being viciously slammed on her head by newly-crowned champ Jessica Andrade in the UFC 237 main event at Jeunesse Arena in Rio, Brazil.
‘Thug’ Rose joked that White jinxed her performance, posting on Instagram that she will never allow the UFC president to pick another walkout song for her.
“That’s the last time I let @danawhite pick my walk out song Thank you Brazil I will never forget this experience,” Namajunas posted.
After suffering the first knockout loss of her career Namajunas, who was on a three-fight win streak heading into UFC 237, is considering retirement.
”Maybe I’ll get it again, maybe I won’t. I don’t know. Maybe I’ll never do this again. We’ll see.”
