Former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey welcomed her first child on Monday, alongside husband and former UFC heavyweight contender Travis Browne.
The first addition to the “Browsey” clan is La’akea Makalapuaokalanip? Browne, who I will assume was named as such to honor “Hapa’s” Hawaiian roots.
“Welcome to this world La’akea Makalapuaokalanip? Browne,” her proud papa wrote on social media. “You are so incredibly loved!”
Both Rousey and Browne have been retired from UFC for more than four years and appear to be content living on their farm in Riverside, Calif., though a return to WWE — where Rousey continued her career post-UFC — may still be on the table.
“Ronda is gonna be coming back at a certain point in time,” WWE President Nick Khan said earlier this year. “Becky Lynch just had her first baby, she’s gonna be coming back at a certain point in time in the not too distant future. So we’re as bullish on that group of folks as on anything else at this company.”
Rousey, 34, finished her MMA career with a 12-2 record.
