With her plans to have a family with husband Travis Browne, Ronda Rousey is uncertain about her WWE future.
WWE Diva and former UFC champion Ronda Rousey is currently focused on having a family with husband Travis Browne. So much so that she is uncertain about her professional wrestling career as of the moment.
In a video she released on her YouTube channel, Rousey says she is unsure about how she will be juggling motherhood and her profession, but has not closed any doors just yet.
“As for WWE plans in the future, we want to have a baby first,” Rousey said (transcript by MMA Fighting). “I don’t know what it’s like to have a baby. I could look down at this beautiful child and be like, ‘F—k everything, I don’t care about anything else other than this baby’ and you’ll never see me again, or I could be like my mom.
“She trained until she was eight months pregnant and then won the U.S. Open six weeks after giving birth. It was unbelievable, I don’t think I’m going to try and aspire to her level.
“I’m just saying, you never know, the thing is I don’t want to make any promises about the future when I don’t know how I’m going to feel in the future,” she added.
As for her fighting career, the 32-year-old Rousey has never made an official declaration of retirement. She was inducted into the UFC Hall-of-Fame in July 2018.
