Jairzinho Rozenstruik is setting big goals for himself for his next fight.
Just after a solid performance at UFC 244 in early November, Jairzinho Rozenstruik took a gamble by stepping in as a late replacement to face Alistair Overeem just a month later. It did pay off big time after he scored a late TKO win against the former Strikeforce champion.
With a huge victory and his undefeated record intact, Rozenstruik called out former title challenger Francis Ngannou for his next fight. “The Predator” was apparently watching it all happen and acknowledged the challenge via Twitter.
I heard you babayga. You made yourself very clear tonight. Congrats on your come back by the way.#uncrowndedchamp ??#UFCDC

During the post-fight scrum, Rozenstruik said he is already expecting fireworks if the fight against Ngannou were to happen. But he is assured to come out with a decisive victory.
“I think it’s going to be a really good fight,” he said (via MMA Fighting). “I mean he’s strong, he’s big. Even when I’m going to look at him like you’re big, you’re scary but we have to do it.
“For me, sure [I can knock him out]. If I hit you, if I get that big head of him, yeah we will see right away, for sure.”
Rozenstruik holds a 10-0 record, with a 4-0 slate in the UFC.
