“King” Ryan Garcia cannot get out of his own way.
Garcia was arrested for felony vandalism yesterday (Sat., June 8, 2024) at the Waldorf Astoria in Beverly Hills, Calif., according to a report from TMZ Sports. TMZ was told that “Garcia was under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs but complied with authorities and went peacefully.”
The luxurious hotel told ESPN that Garcia caused an estimated $15,000 in damage to his room and hallway, and once the Los Angeles Police Department arrived, the hotel decided to press charges.
TMZ posted a video of Garcia leaving the hotel in a helmet.

According to ESPN, “After he was booked at the Beverly Hills Police Department jail, police said Garcia complained of a medical issue and was subsequently transferred to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center for evaluation and treatment.”
Garcia’s attorney, Darin Chavez, issued a statement to ESPN, “[This is an] extraordinarily challenging time for Ryan, as he has been grappling with devastating news regarding his mother’s health. Ryan has been open about his struggles with mental health over the years, and at this time, he is dealing with an immense emotional burden.
The support and understanding from fans and the public are crucial as he navigates these personal challenges. We are working diligently to provide Ryan with the resources he needs,” Chavez added. “Our team is committed to ensuring that he receives the appropriate help and care to address both his immediate and long-term well-being. We ask for continued support and compassion as Ryan focuses on his family and his health at this time.”
Garcia’s mental health has been directed since before his mega-fight with Devin Haney, as he acted incredibly strange. Nevertheless, “King” tested positive for the banned performance-enhancing drug (PED), Ostarine, after his huge upset win over Haney. (He thinks it is all lies)
