Thiago Santos and Johnny Walker may not have put forth one of the more action-packed fights of the year, but both Brazilians still sustained enough damage to leave them staring down the barrel of a six-month medical suspension, pending clearing from their respective physicians.

Joining them in the six-month club are Niko Price (left knee), Krzysztof Jotko (left foot), Devonte Smith (right orbital), and Johnny Eduardo (right orbital). Kevin Holland, meanwhile, will be eligible to return before the end of the month, despite his clash of heads with Kyle Daukaus at UFC Vegas 38 back on Oct. 2 in Las Vegas.

Here are the rest of the UFC Vegas 38 medial suspensions from MixedMartialArts.com, helpfully compiled by MMA Fighting:

Johnny Eduardo: Must receive clearance from ENT doctor for right orbital fracture or no contest until April 1. Minimum suspension no contest until Oct. 24, no contact until Oct. 17

Just a quick reminder: Fighters often return to action much quicker once doctors give them the green light. The lengthy suspensions are just a precaution in most cases. In addition, not all injuries are recorded during the post-fight examination and often times surface in follow-up tests.
