An important women’s bantamweight fight won’t go as planned later this month.

Sara McMann has pulled out of her UFC Fight Night 27 bout against Sarah Kaufman due to undisclosed reasons, according to sources close to the fight. As a result, the UFC is currently looking for a replacement to face Kaufman in her Octagon debut on Aug. 28 in Indianapolis.

MMAJunkie.com first reported the news.

McMann (7-0), a silver medalist in freestyle wrestling at the 2004 Summer Olympic Games, won her UFC debut in April when she defeated Sheila Gaff via first-round TKO.

Kaufman (16-2) won her last fight against Leslie Smith via split decision in April at Invicta FC 5. That win came after her Strikeforce title loss to Ronda Rousey last August.

UFC Fight Night 27, headlined by Carlos Condit vs. Martin Kampmann 2, airs live on FOX Sports 1 from Bankers Life Fieldhouse.
