UFC bantamweight Sean O’Malley overtakes Tyron Woodley in the punching bag ranks at the FOX Sports studio.
Darren Till will tell you just how hard UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley hits, but bantamweight prospect Sean O’Malley hits even harder.
Well, that’s according to O’Malley’s recent high score on the UFC punching bag at FOX Sports HQ in Los Angeles, where ‘Sugar’ accumulated 950 points after landing a smashing right hand in front of awestruck UFC Tonight hosts Daniel Cormier, Kenny Florian, and Karyn Bryant.

O’Malley, who made a name for himself on Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series, overtook the No. 4-ranked Woodley in the punching bag rankings and currently sits one spot behind former UFC heavyweight Pat Barry. Heavyweight slugger Derrick Lewis sits at the top of the list with a massive score of 967.
O’Malley, who is undefeated after 10 professional fights, will take on Jose Quinonez at UFC 229 on Oct. 6. The highly anticipated pay-per-view features the blockbuster lightweight championship tilt between Khabib Nurmagomedov and Conor McGregor, who are set to collide in the main event at Las Vegas’ T-Mobile Arena.
