Season-one lightweight tourney runner-up Toby Imada enters Bellator’s season-two field

Toby Imada, who upset Jorge Masvidal with a performance that earned him the 2009 World MMA Awards “Submission of the Year” honor, looks to improve on last year’s runner-up finish and has entered the eight-man field of Bellator Fighting Championships’ season-two lightweight tourney.

Bellator today announced Imada as the sixth confirmed competitor for its eight-man tourney field.

The tournament kicks off with Bellator’s second season, which commences in April and airs live on FOX Sports Net with taped highlights on NBC and Telemundo.
