Jon Jones had a few words for Jan Blachowicz, who lost the UFC light heavyweight title to Glover Teixeira at UFC 267.
After just a year and some change, the UFC light heavyweight title has once again changed hands. Glover Teixeira, who celebrated his 42nd birthday on fight week, became the second-oldest champion at UFC 267 on Saturday by submitting Jan Blachowicz in round two.
As the Brazilian-American enjoyed his moment of jubilation, Blachowicz was understandably distraught. But that didn’t stop fellow ex-205-pound champion Jon Jones to throw some shade.
After the fight, “Bones” posted this tweet.
See what happens when you’re talking shit, not focusing on the opponent right in front of you. Another one bites the dust ???

It’s not clear what Jones was referring to, but Blachowicz has been going after him for a while now. Just a few days ago, the Polish fighter made these statements during an interview.
I will fight against Jon Jones. Doesn’t matter what weight. I will beat him.
He’s got a problem, and he needs to fix his private life. There is a big problem in his head, and he needs to do something with that. Right now, it’s bad, but it’s not really bad. I wish that he had fixed everything. What is wrong with him?
This loss snapped Blachowicz’s five-fight win streak as he drops to a record of 28-9. Teixeira, meanwhile, extends his streak to six as he improves to a 33-7 slate.
