Shabulat Shamhalaev among three fighters signed by Titan FC

Days after his Bellator release, Shabulat Shamhalaev has found a new home for himself.

Winner of the season 7 featherweight tournament in Bellator, Shamhalaev (12-3-1) has signed a contract with Titan Fight Championship. The featherweight is set to make his promotional debut at Titan FC 31 in October, Titan FC president and CEO Jeff Aronson told MMAFighting.com’s Ariel Helwani.

“We are adding massive depth in our divisions as we are looking to start crowning more champions in the months to come,” Aronson said.

Titan FC has also signed another Bellator veteran in Desmond Green (12-3), who went 3-2 under the Bellator banner, and Sean Santella (13-4-1), former Cage Fury FC flyweight champion.

Robert Washington (18-8, 1 no-contest), who scored a 80-second TKO win over Blaine Thomas at August’s Titan FC 29 in Fayetteville, N.C., has signed a new multi-fight deal with the promotion.

Titan FC’s next show is scheduled for Sept. 26. Headlined by a light heavyweight title bout between Jason Brilz and Vinny Magalhaes, Titan FC 30 takes place at the Cedar Park Center in Cedar, Texas.
