Mauricio “Shogun” Rua and James Te Huna will square off as the co-main event of UFC Fight Night 33 on Dec. 7 in Australia.
The UFC confirmed the news to MMA Fighting, following initial reports from The Daily Telegraph.
Te Huna looks to bounce back after a first-round submission loss to light heavyweight contender Glover Teixeira. Prior to that loss, Te Huna racked up four consecutive wins inside the Octagon, including TKO victories over Ricardo Romero and Aaron Rosa.
“Shogun”, a former UFC light heavyweight champion, tries to return to the win column after suffering back-to-back losses for the first time in his 29-fight career, losing to Chael Sonnen and Alexander Gustafsson.
UFC Fight Night 33 will be headlined by the heavyweight clash between Mark Hunt and Antonio “Bigfoot” Silva.
