Former light heavyweight title contender Alexander Gustafsson will make his heavyweight debut this weekend, and hit the scale on Friday at a whopping 240 pounds for his Fabricio Werdum fight at UFC on ESPN 14 inside Flash Forum on Fight Island in Abu Dhabi.

“The Mauler” never had a problem making the 205-pound limit but with no title shot on the horizon, the towering Swede opted to try his luck in the heavier weight class. More power? Less cardio? I guess we’ll find out this Sat. night (July 25, 2020) on the ESPN+ main card.
