Tonight, HBO presents a stacked card featuring the absolute cream of the crop at 115 pounds. It’s a terrific card, with all three fights taking place in one division, and with every fighter ranked 1-5 in that division in action.
In the main event, former #1 pound for pound king Roman Chocolatito Gonzalez rematches the man who upset him earlier this year and knocked him from his throne, Thailand’s Srisaket Sor Rungvisai. Also on the card is the man considered by Ring Magazine to be #1 in the division – Japan’s Naoya Inoue. Known as The Monster for his KO power, Inoue makes a much anticipated US debut here, potentially setting up a future Chocolatito vs Inoue superfight. Opening the card is a fight between two skilled veterans ranked #4 and #5 in the division – Carlos Cuadras vs. Juan Francisco Estrada.
