Sorry, But Darren Till Doesn’t Give A F—k About Your Opinion

While the winner is expected to fight reigning champion Tyron Woodley later this year, a new (or old) contender could emerge when Darren Till faces Stephen Thompson in the UFC Liverpool main event across the pond.

And according to his conversation with TSN MMA, Till doesn’t really care who you root for.

“I can tell you right now that 90% of people can’t wait for me to lose on May 27 to Wonderboy. They want the so-called hype train to stop. I can’t tell you how many happy faces there are going to be if I get beat, but do you think I give a fuck about them? I couldn’t give a fuck about what anyone thinks, what my Mum thinks, what anyone [thinks]. Wonderboy has beaten everyone, so if I beat him, obviously it looks like I’m in line for a title shot, but I’m not really bothered if the UFC book it or they don’t.”

I would have to imagine a finish over Thompson will leave UFC no choice.

Till (16-0-1) scored his biggest win to date by turning away longtime veteran Donald Cerrone last October in Poland. The recovering Thompson (14-2-1), meanwhile, has been healing up from injuries after outpointing Jorge Masvidal last November.
