Although a Jan. 29 show was under consideration at one point, the date no longer is expected to host an Ultimate Fighting Championship card.
Multiple sources close to the organization told MMAjunkie.com nothing is planned for pay-per-view or Spike TV for the January date.
That means the Jan. 1 New Year’s Day card will be UFC 125, and the star-studded Super Bowl weekend card on Feb. 5 is expected to be UFC 126.
