Boxing champion Errol Spence Jr. is now in stable condition, according to a statement issued Thursday.
Video of the car accident world boxing champion Errol Spence Jr. was involved in surfaced Thursday.
Nearby security footage first released by CBS 11 shows a Ferrari, reportedly driven by Spence, flipping several times early Thursday morning in Dallas. Spence is the IBF and WBC welterweight champion.

Spence lost control of the vehicle and was ejected from it during the collision, per reports. The single-vehicle crash occurred around 3 a.m. CBS 11 also reports that Spence could face a DWI charge based on a police investigation.
Spence is being treated at a Dallas-area hospital. His condition was initially listed as serious, but according to a statement from Swanson Communications, the PR firm that works with Premier Boxing Champions, it is now listed as stable.
“Spence is awake and responding and his condition is listed as stable,” the statement issued Thursday read. “He did not sustain any broken bones or fractures, but has some facial lacerations. He is expected to make a full recovery.”
Spence (26-0) is coming off a Sept. 28 win over Shawn Porter to win the WBC welterweight title in Los Angeles.
