If there were any question as to the level of UFC light heavyweight Jon
Jones’ popularity, they may have been answered Thursday night.

MMAjunkie.com has learned that the debut airing of
“Jon Jones: In the Moment,” a half-hour special following the fighter’s
pre-fight preparations for this weekend’s UFC 128 showdown with Mauricio
“Shogun” Rua, drew 555,000 viewers to Spike TV.

The numbers eclipsed the debut airing of “Countdown to UFC 128,” which
focused on a handful of the card’s top matchups and scored 406,000
viewers in its first run.
