Spike TV’s UFC 110 replay draws 1.4 million viewers, tops Strikeforce in key demo

Spike TV’s replay of a UFC 110 pay-per-view event that aired this past Saturday scored a 1.0 household rating and averaged 1.4 million viewers, Spike TV officials today announced.

Although it fell short of topping a live CBS broadcast of “Strikeforce:
Nashville,” which averaged twice the audience with 2.9 million viewers,
Spike TV’s counter-programming won in a key demo.

Among men ages 18-34 – one of TV’s most lucrative demographics – the April 17 replay of UFC 110 earned a 1.4 rating, which beat Strikeforce and CBS by seven percent.
