If your a fan of Japanese mixed martial arts and you like to stay up very late (or get up very early as the case may be), then your in luck. HDNet will be broadcasting World Victory Road’s “Sengoku Raiden Championship 14: event live Sunday morning at 2 PM EST (that’s Saturday at 11 PM PST for everyone on the West Coast).
The show features an eleven fight card with a main event bout featuring a middleweight title matchup between champion JORGE SANTIAGO vs. KAZUO MISAKI.

Event to air LIVE from Tokyo – late Saturday night at 11:00 p.m. PT
WHAT: HDNet to air “Sengoku Raiden Championship 14″ LIVE from the Ryogoku Kokugikan in Tokyo, Japan, late this Saturday night, August 21 at 11:00 pm PT. In the main event of the evening, Jorge Santiago defends his Sengoku Middleweight championship title against Kazuo Misaki. The fighters are meeting for a second time -the first match-up was in January 2009 at the Sengoku Raiden Championship event which determined the organization’s first-ever middleweight champion. Santiago narrowly beat Misaki late in the final round and Misaki wants to even the score!
Current TKO Major League MMA Featherweight Champion and Shooto Lightweight Champion Hatsu Hioki, will take on Jeff Lawson, who was recently featured in Ultimate Fighter 9, and Yasubey Enomoto will face tough competition against Kenta Takagi, who has recorded all of his victories by a first-round KO. Sotaro Yamada has his work cut out for him, facing four-time BJJ World Cup Champion Leonardo Santos.
Also featured on the card are matchups including Taisuke Okuno vs. Nick Thompson, Motoki Miyazawa vs. Takuya Sato and Shintaro Ishiwatari vs. Kil Woo Lee. Also featured are Takuya Eizumi vs. Shoko Sato, Tatsuya So vs. Wataru Takahashi and Hirokazu Nishimura vs. Jae Hyun.
