With Junior dos Santos out of commission, Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) has asked Greg Hardy to jump in on short notice to fight No. 7-ranked Alexander Volkov in the upcoming UFC Moscow co-main event this Sat. (Nov. 9, 2019) inside CSKA Arena in Moscow, Russia.
Before these two mammoth heavyweights get busy inside the Octagon, the promotion had them come face-to-face at the conclusion of the UFC Moscow media day, which also featured the featherweight headliner between Zabit Magomedsharipov and Calvin Kattar.
“They should expect a whole lot of war,” Hardy told the crowd in Moscow (via RT Sport). “I love Russia. You guys are awesome. Sick country, man. I love you guys! And expect war, man. A whole lot of blood, a whole lot of fun, and a show!”
