It didn’t take long ater Cain Velasquez’s removal from UFC 207 for another heavyweight to offer up his services to fight Fabricio Werdum.
It remains unclear if Fabricio Werdum will still be fighting at UFC 207 after Cain Velasquez wasn’t able to get medically cleared to compete against him. But despite the card being just six days away and Christmas being tomorrow, one prominent UFC heavyweight has already offered his services to compete on the December 30th card – Stefan Struve.
The big man took to Twitter to say that he’s ready to go if need be:
If they need anyone for 207 next week, I can do new years in Vegas.. My xmas eve dinner wasnt to crazy so should be able to make 266 @ufc

Struve (23-8, 12-6 UFC) is scheduled to headline a UFC Fight Night card against Junior dos Santos in February, but the UFC might consider bringing him in if Werdum still wants to fight. He has won two in a row, stopping Antonio Silva in just 16 seconds with elbows and submitting Daniel Omielanczuk with a D’Arce choke.
UFC 207 goes down on December 30th, with two title fights on top – women’s bantamweight champion Amanda Nunes defending against the returning Ronda Rousey, and Dominick Cruz defending his 135-pound title against Cody Garbrandt.
