Strawweight champ Joanna J?drzejczyk says she’s the UFC’s best striker

As the gap between Joanna Jędrzejczyk and the rest of the UFC strawweight division widens, the 115-pound champion’s confidence grows.

The 10-0 Jędrzejczyk disposed of a pair of former Invicta champions, Carla Esparza and Jessica Penne, with frightening ferocity, so she’s getting to the point she doesn’t fear anyone.

When asked on Monday’s edition of The MMA Hour which potential contender concerns her the most, “Joanna Champion” had a one-word response: “Nobody.”

In the wake of her thorough striking displays, some have suggested that Jędrzejczyk may be the best striker in the UFC, regardless of gender. Again, the native of Poland was succinct when asked if she believes this to be the case: “I am,” said Jędrzejczyk.

Stlll, though, don’t take this as the champion resting on her laurels.

“I know I must by very focused,” she said. “I must pay attention, I must work harder than before, because they’re going to watch me, you know? All of them, they’re going to watch me.”
