The complete UFC 197 fight card will air later this evening (Sat., April 23, 2016) on two different stations — FOX Sports 1 and pay-per-view (PPV) — as well as online via “Fight Pass” digital network. UFC 197’s “Prelims” undercard will begin at 6:30 p.m. online via “Fight Pass” before transitioning to the FOX Sports 1 television station at 8 p.m. ET.

Once the UFC 197 undercard is complete, the action will pick up on PPV at 10 p.m. ET, starting with a battle between Featherweight up-and-comers Yair Rodriguez vs. Andre Fili. Then it’s a meaningful Middleweight match up between surging The Ultimate Fighter (TUF): “Smashes” winner, Robert Whittaker, taking on red-hot Rafael Natal. And third from the top of the PPV bill is a sensational striking battle between top-ranked Lightweight talents, Anthony Pettis and Edson Barboza, both of whom are motivated to re-ignite their championship chances.

Leading the charge is perhaps the greatest UFC fighter of all time, Jon Jones, who will return from a tumultuous 18-month layoff in an attempt to get a little of what he lost when he collides with Ovince Saint Preux for the interim Light Heavyweight crown. Not to outdone, dominant Flyweight champion, Demetrious Johnson, will look to defend his title for the eighth time at the expense of Olympic wrestling star, Henry Cejudo, in the PPV co-main event of the evening.

It’s not exactly what fight fans wanted with Preux filling in for injured 205-pound champion, Daniel Cormier, on short notice, but it will more than likely be fun while it lasts.

UFC 197: “Jones vs. Saint Preux” will cost $59.99 to watch on PPV (exclusions may, and often do, apply based on geographic location).
