Former UFC middleweight champion, Sean Strickland, claims “dirty Canadian leftists” robbed him of victory over newly-crowned titleholder, Dricus Du Plessis, when they went to war in the UFC 297 main event last January in Toronto.

Now “Tarzan” will have a chance to prove it.

Strickland will run it back with Du Plessis atop the UFC 312 pay-per-view (PPV) card this February in Sydney. The challenger opened at +125 against -145 for the champion, with the betting line shifting slightly in the hours following yesterday’s announcement.

Strickland is now +135 opposite -155 for Du Plessis, according to BetOnline.ag.

In the UFC 312 co-main event, reigning strawweight champion, Zhang Weili, will defend her 115-pound strap against undefeated division phenom Tatiana Suarez. “Magnum” opened as the slight betting favorite at -140, with Suarez not far behind at +120.

Like the headlining act, Weili vs. Suarez also (slightly) shifted, now sitting at -135 for the champion against +115 for the challenger.

“It’s my time! We’re going to the land down under,” Suarez wrote on Instagram. “Let’s go!”

“Let’s goooooooo, UFC 312!” Weili added.

Expect more UFC 312 fight card announcements in the coming weeks, if not days.
