The official weigh-ins for Strikeforce Challengers 14 took place Thursday night at the Cedar Park Center on the main concourse in Cedar Park, Texas. The same venue for Friday nights event, which will feature a Showtime broadcasted main card beginning at 11PM (EST/PST delayed on the West Coast).
A total of 14 fighters hit the scales with all of them making weight for their respective bouts. One of the main card fighters, Nick Gonzalez had to hit the scales twice weighing in at 151.75 lbs on his first attempt and eventually weighed in at 150 lbs.
Headliners Lyle “Fancy Pants” Beerbohm (155.75) and Pat “Bam Bam” Healy (155.5) had no problems making weight for their match. Also featured on the card will be a 160 lbs catchweight bout between Carlo “Neo” Prater (160) vs. Bryan Travers (159.7) and a lightweight matchup featuring Ryan Couture (155.5) vs. Lee Higgins (154.5).
